Lateral Head
The "Lateral Head" refers to one of the three heads of the triceps brachii muscle, located at the back of the upper arm. It plays a crucial role in extending the elbow joint, allowing for movements such as pushing and lifting. The lateral head is situated on the outer side of the arm, making it prominent during physical activities.
This muscle head works in conjunction with the other two heads, the long head and the medial head, to provide strength and stability to the arm. Strengthening the lateral head can enhance overall arm function and improve performance in various sports and exercises.
