Lansdowne Road Stadium
Lansdowne Road Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium located in Dublin, Ireland. Opened in 1872, it primarily hosted rugby and soccer matches. The stadium had a seating capacity of around 50,000 and was known for its iconic design and vibrant atmosphere during events.
In 2007, Lansdowne Road was closed for redevelopment and replaced by the new Aviva Stadium, which opened in 2010. The new stadium maintains the historical significance of the original site while providing modern facilities and improved spectator experiences.
