Languages of Canada
Canada is a bilingual country with two official languages: English and French. Approximately 56% of Canadians speak English, while around 21% speak French, primarily in the province of Quebec. Other regions, such as New Brunswick, also have significant French-speaking populations.
In addition to the official languages, Canada is home to over 200 indigenous languages, reflecting the rich cultural diversity of its First Nations, Métis, and Inuit peoples. Some of the most spoken indigenous languages include Cree, Inuktitut, and Ojibwe. These languages contribute to Canada's multicultural identity and heritage.
