Lambeth Conference
The Lambeth Conference is a gathering of bishops from the worldwide Anglican Communion, held approximately every ten years. It serves as a platform for discussion on theological, social, and political issues affecting the Church and its mission. The conference aims to foster unity and collaboration among the diverse provinces of the Anglican Communion.
The first Lambeth Conference took place in 1867, initiated by Archbishop of Canterbury Charles Longley. Since then, it has become a significant event for Anglican leaders to share insights, address challenges, and strengthen relationships within the global church community.
