Lambda Baryons
Lambda Baryons are a type of subatomic particle classified as baryons, which are made up of three quarks. Specifically, a Lambda Baryon consists of one up quark, one down quark, and one strange quark. They are part of the strong force family and are produced in high-energy collisions, such as those in particle accelerators.
These particles are unstable and typically decay into other particles within a short time. The most common decay mode involves the emission of a pion and a proton. Lambda Baryons play a significant role in understanding the interactions of quarks and the behavior of matter under extreme conditions.
