Lambchop Rasbora
The Lambchop Rasbora (Boraras brigittae) is a small freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia, particularly found in the rivers and streams of Indonesia and Malaysia. It typically grows to about 1.5 inches (4 cm) in length and is known for its vibrant colors, including shades of red and orange. This species thrives in well-planted aquariums with gentle water flow and prefers a temperature range of 75-82°F (24-28°C).
Lambchop Rasboras are social fish and should be kept in groups of at least six to promote their natural behavior. They are peaceful and can coexist with other small fish species, making them a popular choice for community tanks. Their diet consists mainly of small flakes, micro-pellets, and live or frozen foods like brine shrimp and daphnia.
