Lake Mjøsa
Lake Mjøsa is the largest lake in Norway, covering an area of approximately 365 square kilometers. It is located in the eastern part of the country, stretching between the cities of Lillehammer and Hamar. The lake is known for its clear waters and scenic surroundings, making it a popular destination for outdoor activities.
The lake has a maximum depth of about 449 meters, making it one of the deepest lakes in Scandinavia. It is fed by several rivers, including the Gudbrandsdalslågen, and drains into the Vorma River. Lake Mjøsa is also home to various fish species, contributing to local fishing activities.
