Lake Karakul
Lake Karakul is a large, high-altitude lake located in the Pamirs mountain range of Tajikistan. It sits at an elevation of about 3,914 meters (12,838 feet) and covers an area of approximately 380 square kilometers (150 square miles). The lake is known for its stunning blue color and is surrounded by rugged mountains, making it a picturesque destination.
