Lake Agnes
Lake Agnes is a picturesque glacial lake located in the Banff National Park of Alberta, Canada. Nestled at an elevation of 2,134 meters (7,000 feet), it is surrounded by stunning mountain scenery, including the Lake Agnes Tea House, which is a popular destination for hikers. The lake is known for its clear blue waters and is often visited during the summer months.
The lake is accessible via a well-maintained hiking trail that starts from the Lake Louise area. The hike to Lake Agnes is approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) one way and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. In winter, the lake often freezes over, creating a serene winter wonderland.
