Labuan War Cemetery
The Labuan War Cemetery is a memorial site located on Labuan Island in Malaysia. It honors the soldiers who lost their lives during World War II, particularly those who fought in the Borneo Campaign. The cemetery contains over 3,900 graves, including those of British, Australian, and other Commonwealth servicemen.
Established in 1946, the cemetery is maintained by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. It features well-kept lawns, pathways, and a central memorial that lists the names of those whose graves are unknown. The site serves as a place of remembrance and reflection for visitors and families of the fallen.
