LaVell Edwards
LaVell Edwards was an influential American football coach, best known for his long tenure at Brigham Young University (BYU) from 1972 to 1990. Under his leadership, the BYU Cougars became a prominent program, winning the 1984 National Championship and producing numerous NFL players. Edwards was recognized for his innovative offensive strategies, particularly the use of the passing game.
