LaRue County
LaRue County is located in the central part of the state of Kentucky, USA. It was established in 1843 and is named after John LaRue, a local pioneer. The county seat is Hodgenville, which is also known as the birthplace of Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States.
The county covers an area of approximately 255 square miles and features a mix of rural landscapes, including farmland and forests. LaRue County is part of the Elizabethtown-Fort Knox metropolitan area and offers various recreational activities, including hiking and fishing in its natural parks.
