La Virgen María
La Virgen María, or the Virgin Mary, is a central figure in Christianity, revered as the mother of Jesucristo (Jesus Christ). She is often depicted as a symbol of purity and compassion, and her life is celebrated in various religious traditions. Many Christians believe that she was conceived without sin, a doctrine known as the Inmaculada Concepción (Immaculate Conception).
In addition to her role in Christianity, La Virgen María is also honored in Islam as Maryam, the mother of Isa (Jesus). She is recognized for her piety and devotion, and her story is told in both the Biblia (Bible) and the Corán (Quran). Various cultures celebrate her through festivals, prayers, and artistic representations.
