LHD (Left-Hand Drive)
LHD, or Left-Hand Drive, refers to vehicles designed for driving on the right side of the road, with the steering wheel located on the left side of the car. This configuration is common in many countries, including the United States, Canada, and most of Europe. LHD vehicles allow drivers to have a better view of oncoming traffic and make it easier to overtake other vehicles.
In contrast, Right-Hand Drive (RHD) vehicles are designed for countries where driving occurs on the left side of the road, such as United Kingdom and Australia. The choice between LHD and RHD depends on local traffic regulations and road systems, influencing vehicle design and import/export practices.
