LDS temples
LDS temples are sacred buildings used by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) for religious ceremonies and worship. Unlike regular meetinghouses, temples are considered holy spaces where members participate in ordinances, such as marriages and baptisms for the dead. These ceremonies are believed to strengthen their relationship with God and provide spiritual blessings.
Temples are often architecturally distinctive, featuring spires and symbolic artwork. Access to temples is generally restricted to members who hold a temple recommend, which signifies their commitment to the faith and adherence to its teachings. Temples serve as a place of peace, reflection, and spiritual growth for the LDS community.
