Lézard
The term "Lézard" is French for "lizard," which refers to a diverse group of reptiles belonging to the suborder Lacertilia. Lizards are characterized by their elongated bodies, four legs, and scaly skin. They can be found in various habitats around the world, from deserts to forests, and they play important roles in their ecosystems as both predators and prey.
Lizards exhibit a wide range of sizes, colors, and behaviors. Some species, like the Green Iguana, can grow quite large, while others, such as the Anole, are much smaller. Many lizards are known for their ability to regenerate their tails, a fascinating adaptation that helps them escape predators.
