Kuwaiti flag
The Kuwaiti flag features three horizontal stripes of black, green, and red, with a vertical white stripe on the left side. The black stripe symbolizes the defeat of enemies, the green represents fertility and the land, and the red signifies the bloodshed in the struggle for independence. The white stripe stands for peace.
The flag's design was officially adopted on September 7, 1961, shortly before Kuwait gained independence from British rule. The colors are inspired by the Pan-Arab colors, which represent Arab unity and independence. The flag is an important national symbol for the people of Kuwait.
