Kupała Night
Kupała Night, also known as Ivan Kupala Night, is a traditional Slavic festival celebrated on the night of July 6th to 7th. It marks the summer solstice and is associated with the ancient rituals of fertility and the worship of water. People often gather around bonfires, sing songs, and perform various rituals to honor the goddess of love and fertility.
During the celebration, participants may also engage in activities like flower crown making and jumping over fires. In some regions, young women float wreaths on water to predict their future. The festival is rich in folklore and symbolizes the connection between nature and human life.
