Kumano Hayatama Taisha
Kumano Hayatama Taisha is one of the three main shrines in the Kumano Sanzan complex, located in Shingu, Japan. It is dedicated to Futodama no Mikoto, a deity associated with life and renewal. The shrine features a beautiful main hall, known as the Honden, which showcases traditional Japanese architecture and is surrounded by lush greenery.
Established over 1,300 years ago, Kumano Hayatama Taisha is a UNESCO World Heritage site and attracts many visitors each year. The shrine is known for its sacred tree, the Yoshino cedar, which is believed to be over 1,000 years old, symbolizing longevity and strength.
