Kubb is a lawn game that originated in Sweden, often referred to as "Viking chess." It is played on a rectangular field, typically measuring 5 by 8 meters. The game involves two teams, each aiming to knock down the opponent's wooden blocks, called kubbs, by throwing wooden sticks, known as pjäxor. The objective is to topple the king, a larger block in the center, after all kubbs have been knocked down. Players take turns throwing the pjäxor at the kubbs, which are placed on the opposing team's side. If a team successfully knocks down all the kubbs, they can then attempt to knock down the king.
