Kubb
Kubb is a lawn game that originated in Sweden, often referred to as "Viking chess." It is played on a rectangular field, typically measuring 5 by 8 meters. The game involves two teams, each aiming to knock down the opponent's wooden blocks, called kubbs, by throwing wooden sticks, known as pjäxor. The objective is to topple the king, a larger block in the center, after all kubbs have been knocked down.
Players take turns throwing the pjäxor at the kubbs, which are placed on the opposing team's side. If a team successfully knocks down all the kubbs, they can then attempt to knock down the king. Kubb is popular for its blend of strategy and skill, making it suitable for players of all ages.
