Krou languages
The Krou languages are a group of languages spoken primarily in West Africa, particularly in countries like Ivory Coast and Liberia. They belong to the larger Niger-Congo language family and are known for their rich diversity, with several distinct languages and dialects within the group.
These languages are characterized by their use of tone and complex vowel systems. Some of the most notable Krou languages include Bété, Kru, and Dida. The Krou-speaking communities have a rich cultural heritage, often reflected in their oral traditions, music, and social practices.
