Korku Language
The Korku language is a member of the Munda branch of the Austroasiatic language family. It is primarily spoken by the Korku people in the central Indian states of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. The language has several dialects and is known for its unique phonetic and grammatical features.
Korku is an endangered language, with a declining number of speakers due to the influence of dominant languages like Hindi and Marathi. Efforts are being made to preserve the language through documentation and education, as it plays a crucial role in the cultural identity of the Korku community.
