Korfball
Korfball is a mixed-gender team sport that originated in the Netherlands in the late 19th century. It is played by two teams of eight players each, with four males and four females on each team. The objective is to score by throwing a ball through a korf, a hoop mounted on a pole, which is positioned at a height of 3.5 meters.
The game is played on a rectangular court divided into two zones, with each team defending one zone. Players can only defend opponents in their own zone, promoting teamwork and strategy. Korfball emphasizes cooperation and inclusivity, making it unique among team sports.
