Korean War Veterans Memorial
The Korean War Veterans Memorial is located in Washington, D.C. and honors the service members who fought in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. The memorial features 19 stainless steel statues representing a squad on patrol, along with a wall inscribed with the names of over 36,000 fallen soldiers.
Dedicated in 1995, the memorial also includes a reflecting pool and a granite wall that symbolizes the sacrifices made during the conflict. It serves as a place of remembrance and education, ensuring that the contributions of veterans are recognized and honored by future generations.
