Korean War Memorial
The Korean War Memorial is located in Washington, D.C., and honors the service members who fought in the Korean War from 1950 to 1953. The memorial features 19 stainless steel statues representing a squad on patrol, along with a Wall of Remembrance that lists the names of those who died during the conflict.
Dedicated in 1995, the memorial serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by the United States and its allies during the war. It is part of the larger National Mall and is visited by many who wish to pay their respects to the veterans and learn about this significant historical event.
