Korean Bronze Culture
The Korean Bronze Culture refers to a period in Korean history, roughly from 1000 BCE to 300 CE, characterized by the use of bronze tools and weapons. This era saw the development of advanced metallurgy, which allowed for the creation of various bronze artifacts, including ceremonial items and everyday tools. The culture is often associated with the Gojoseon kingdom, one of the earliest Korean states.
During this time, social structures became more complex, leading to the emergence of chiefdoms and increased trade with neighboring regions. The Korean Bronze Culture also laid the foundation for later cultural developments, influencing art, technology, and social organization in subsequent periods.
