Korean Bishops' Conference
The Korean Bishops' Conference (KBC) is the national assembly of Catholic bishops in South Korea. Established in 1966, it serves as a platform for bishops to discuss and coordinate pastoral activities, address social issues, and promote the teachings of the Catholic Church. The KBC also represents the interests of the Catholic community in South Korea to the Vatican and other organizations.
The conference plays a significant role in fostering unity among the Catholic dioceses in South Korea. It organizes various initiatives, including educational programs, social justice campaigns, and interfaith dialogues, to enhance the Church's mission and outreach within the country.
