Korea Basketball Federation
The Korea Basketball Federation (KBF) is the governing body for basketball in South Korea. Established in 1948, it oversees the development and promotion of the sport at all levels, including amateur and professional leagues. The KBF is responsible for organizing national competitions and managing the South Korean national basketball teams.
In addition to domestic activities, the KBF represents South Korea in international basketball organizations, such as FIBA (the International Basketball Federation). The federation works to enhance the quality of basketball in the country through training programs, coaching certifications, and youth development initiatives.
