Knee-Knock
Knee-knock, also known as genu valgum, is a condition where a person's knees touch while their feet remain apart. This alignment can create an inward angle of the knees, which may be noticeable when standing or walking. It is common in children and often resolves as they grow, but in some cases, it can persist into adulthood.
The condition can result from various factors, including genetics, obesity, or certain medical conditions. While knee-knock itself is usually not harmful, it can lead to discomfort or issues with balance and gait. Treatment options may include physical therapy, braces, or, in severe cases, surgery.
