Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge
Klamath Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is located in southern Oregon and covers over 30,000 acres of wetlands, grasslands, and forests. Established in 1958, the refuge provides essential habitat for a variety of wildlife, including migratory birds, deer, and other species. It plays a crucial role in the Pacific Flyway, serving as a stopover for birds traveling between their breeding and wintering grounds.
The refuge features several trails and viewing areas, allowing visitors to observe wildlife and enjoy the natural beauty of the landscape. It is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and aims to protect and restore the diverse ecosystems found within its boundaries.
