Kingdom of Majorca
The Kingdom of Majorca was a medieval state that existed from 1231 to 1349. It was established after the conquest of the island of Majorca by James I of Aragon. The kingdom included the islands of Majorca, Menorca, and Ibiza, and it was part of the larger Crown of Aragon.
The kingdom was known for its thriving trade and cultural exchanges in the Mediterranean. Its capital, Palma, became an important center for commerce and learning. The kingdom eventually fell under the control of the Crown of Aragon and was integrated into the Kingdom of Spain.
