King Xiang of Chu
King Xiang of Chu was a ruler of the ancient Chinese state of Chu during the Warring States period. He reigned from 338 to 330 BCE and is known for his efforts to strengthen the state and expand its territory. His leadership was marked by military campaigns and alliances that aimed to enhance Chu's power among rival states.
During his reign, King Xiang faced challenges from neighboring states, particularly Qin, which was emerging as a dominant force. Despite his efforts, Chu struggled to maintain its influence, and after his death, the state continued to experience internal strife and external pressures from its adversaries.
