King Rama VIII
King Rama VIII, born Ananda Mahidol, was the eighth monarch of the Chakri Dynasty in Thailand. He ascended to the throne in 1935 at just nine years old after the death of his brother, King Rama VII. His reign was marked by political instability and the growing influence of military leaders.
Tragically, King Rama VIII died under mysterious circumstances in 1946, leading to speculation and conspiracy theories. His death resulted in the ascension of his younger brother, King Rama IX, who would go on to have a long and impactful reign in Thailand.
