King Magnus IV
King Magnus IV, also known as Magnus the Blind, was a king of Norway who reigned from 1130 to 1135. He was born around 1115 and was the son of King Sigurd I. His reign was marked by internal conflicts and power struggles among the nobility, which led to a civil war in Norway.
Magnus IV lost his sight later in life, which earned him the nickname "the Blind." Despite his disability, he continued to rule until his death in 1135. His reign is often remembered for the challenges he faced in uniting the kingdom and maintaining stability during a tumultuous period in Norwegian history.
