King Magnus I
King Magnus I, also known as Magnus the Good, was a king of Norway who reigned from 1035 to 1047. He was the son of King Olaf II of Norway and became king after the death of his half-brother, King Harald Hardrada. Magnus is known for his efforts to unite Norway and for his campaigns in Denmark, where he sought to expand his influence.
During his reign, Magnus I worked to strengthen the monarchy and promote Christianity in Norway. He was recognized for his fair rule and was respected by both nobles and common people. His reign ended when he died in 1047, after which he was succeeded by his cousin, King Harald III.
