King Heonjong
King Heonjong was the 24th ruler of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea, reigning from 1834 to 1849. He became king at a young age after the death of his father, King Sunjo. His reign was marked by political instability and challenges from various factions within the court.
During his time, King Heonjong faced issues such as corruption and the influence of powerful officials. Despite these challenges, he attempted to implement reforms and modernize the government. His reign ended with his death in 1849, after which he was succeeded by King Cheoljong.
