King Eric I of Norway
King Eric I of Norway, also known as Eric Bloodaxe, was a Viking king who ruled during the 10th century. He was born around 885 and was the son of King Harald Fairhair, the first king of Norway. Eric is known for his fierce nature and his efforts to consolidate power in Norway, often through military means.
Eric's reign was marked by conflict, both with rival chieftains and within his own family. He eventually lost his throne and fled to England, where he continued to seek power. Eric's life ended around 954 when he was killed in battle, leaving a legacy as a formidable Viking leader.
