King Aegon IV Targaryen
King Aegon IV Targaryen, also known as Aegon the Unworthy, ruled the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros from 172 to 184 AC. He was the son of King Aegon III Targaryen and Queen Jaehaera Targaryen. Aegon IV is often remembered for his indulgent lifestyle, poor leadership, and the numerous scandals that marked his reign.
Aegon IV's most notable act was legitimizing his numerous bastards, which led to significant political turmoil. His reign ended with his death in 184 AC, after which he was succeeded by his son, King Daeron II Targaryen. Aegon IV's legacy is largely viewed as a period of decline for the Targaryen dynasty.
