King Aegon IV
King Aegon IV, also known as Aegon the Unworthy, was the fourth Targaryen king to sit on the Iron Throne of Westeros. He ruled from 172 AC to 184 AC and is often remembered for his controversial reign marked by excess and poor decisions. Aegon IV's rule was characterized by his indulgent lifestyle and numerous mistresses, which led to significant political strife.
His reign saw the weakening of the Targaryen dynasty, as Aegon IV's actions alienated many noble houses. He is infamous for legitimizing his bastards, which created further division among the nobility and set the stage for future conflicts in the realm.
