Kinematic Equations
Kinematic equations are mathematical formulas used to describe the motion of objects. They relate variables such as displacement, initial velocity, final velocity, acceleration, and time. These equations are particularly useful in physics for solving problems involving linear motion, where the acceleration is constant.
There are four primary kinematic equations. They can be used to calculate unknown values when certain other values are known. For example, if you know the initial velocity and acceleration of an object, you can determine how far it will travel in a given time period using these equations.
