Kim Jong-nam
Kim Jong-nam was the estranged half-brother of Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea. Born on May 10, 1971, he was the son of Kim Jong-il, the former leader of North Korea. Kim Jong-nam lived in exile for many years, primarily in Macau, after falling out of favor with the North Korean regime.
On February 13, 2017, Kim Jong-nam was assassinated at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia. He was attacked by two women who smeared a toxic nerve agent on his face. His death raised international concerns about North Korea's tactics and the implications of its leadership struggles.
