Killer Whales
Killer whales, or orcas, are the largest members of the dolphin family. They are known for their striking black and white coloration and can grow up to 32 feet long. These marine mammals are found in oceans worldwide, often living in social groups called pods. Killer whales are highly intelligent and exhibit complex behaviors, including hunting techniques that vary by region.
Killer whales are apex predators, meaning they have no natural enemies. Their diet primarily consists of fish, squid, and marine mammals like seals and sea lions. They communicate using a variety of vocalizations and are known for their strong family bonds within pods.
