Khama I
Khama I was a prominent leader of the Bamangwato tribe in what is now Botswana. He ruled from 1875 until his death in 1923 and is known for his efforts to modernize his kingdom. Khama I focused on education, agriculture, and infrastructure, promoting the welfare of his people.
