Key Stage 4
Key Stage 4 (KS4) is an educational stage in the United Kingdom that typically includes students aged 14 to 16. It is part of the National Curriculum and usually covers Year 10 and Year 11. During this period, students study a range of subjects, leading to the completion of their General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams.
At the end of Key Stage 4, students receive their GCSE results, which are important for further education and career opportunities. Many students choose to continue their studies in Sixth Form or Further Education Colleges, where they can pursue A-levels or vocational qualifications.
