Kertanegara
Kertanegara was the last king of the Singhasari kingdom in Java, Indonesia, ruling from 1268 to 1292. He is known for his ambitious expansion efforts and for unifying various regions in the archipelago under his rule. Kertanegara's reign marked a significant period in Javanese history, characterized by cultural and political developments.
One of Kertanegara's notable achievements was the commissioning of the Prajnaparamita statue, which reflects the artistic and spiritual advancements of the time. His reign ended with the invasion by the Mongol Empire, leading to the eventual rise of the Majapahit kingdom, which succeeded Singhasari.
