Kepler Telescope
The Kepler Telescope is a space observatory launched by NASA in 2009 to discover exoplanets, which are planets outside our solar system. It uses a method called the transit method, where it detects tiny dips in a star's brightness caused by a planet passing in front of it. This allows scientists to identify and study planets that may be similar to Earth.
Over its mission, the Kepler Telescope discovered thousands of potential exoplanets, significantly increasing our understanding of the universe. It operated until 2018, providing valuable data that continues to aid astronomers in their search for habitable worlds and understanding planetary systems.
