Kelimutu
Kelimutu is a volcano located on the island of Flores in Indonesia. It is famous for its three colorful crater lakes, which change colors due to varying mineral content and volcanic activity. The lakes are named Tiwu Ata Mbupu, Tiwu Ko'o Fai, and Tiwu Ata Polo, each holding cultural significance for the local Ngada people.
The highest peak of Kelimutu reaches about 1,690 meters (5,510 feet) above sea level. The area is a popular destination for tourists and hikers, offering stunning views and a unique natural phenomenon. The lakes' colors can range from blue to green, red, and black, attracting visitors year-round.
