Kecapi
The Kecapi is a traditional stringed musical instrument from Indonesia, particularly associated with the Sundanese culture. It resembles a zither and is typically made from wood, featuring a flat body and several strings stretched across it. The instrument is played by plucking the strings with the fingers or using a plectrum, producing a melodious sound that is often used in traditional music and performances.
In addition to its musical role, the Kecapi is often accompanied by other instruments, such as the Suling (a bamboo flute) and the Gong. Together, they create a harmonious blend that enhances cultural events and ceremonies. The Kecapi is not only a musical instrument but also a symbol of Indonesian heritage and artistry.
