Kay Ivey
Kay Ivey is an American politician serving as the 54th governor of Alabama. She took office on April 10, 2017, after the resignation of former governor Robert Bentley. Ivey is a member of the Republican Party and is the second woman to hold the governor's office in Alabama's history.
Before becoming governor, Ivey held various political positions, including serving as the state treasurer and lieutenant governor. She has focused on issues such as economic development, education, and infrastructure during her tenure. Ivey was re-elected in 2022, continuing her leadership in the state.
