Kawagebo
Kawagebo is the highest peak in the Meili Snow Mountain range, located in Yunnan Province, China. Standing at 6,740 meters (22,114 feet), it is revered for its stunning natural beauty and challenging climbing conditions. The mountain is considered sacred by local Tibetan communities, who believe it to be the home of deities.
The first successful ascent of Kawagebo was achieved in 1992, but the mountain remains less frequented compared to other peaks in the region. Its remote location and rugged terrain attract adventurous climbers and trekkers, making it a significant destination for those seeking a unique experience in the Himalayas.
